A little more about Luke…
A few days ago I posted a blog article about the website I made, so you can help me make a website!
You can go to lukehockley.com.au now and ask me a question or…
I thought that first you might like to find out a little bit about me to help you work out what questions you would like to ask, so here goes…
I make performance work that inspires people to reflect on the world they live in, the roles they play and inspires them to create the kind of world they want to live in.
As a child when I was asked ‘what do you want to be when you grow up?’ I would often say…
“I dream that one day I will be offered a lead role in a Cirque du Soleil production, be invited to advise a major corporation on how to tell the story of renewable fuel to Australians, be chased by a pack of wild dogs in Taiwan whilst choreographing a dance piece and perhaps also teach leaders in the Victorian Health sector how to be compelling communicators.”
All my dreams came true.
Ten years ago I began an adventure to see if I could use my skills as a performer, strategic thinker, entrepreneur and teacher to partially self fund my artistic projects. That adventure is called Midnightsky. An arts company, a consultancy business and an organisation pursuing social change.
I see my work as a strategic advisor and communication coach as being a way to amplify the good things that are going on in the world. It’s also a way to meet the most interesting, influential and inspiring people in Australia whom I shamelessly entice to be involved in the art projects I create. I believe doing so makes them better decision makers, better leaders and most importantly better members of the community. They certainly make my art better too!

Righto – now go and ask some questions.
Artist, advisor, coach.
I find the real problem, make the difficult easy
and tell a great story.
