The Lucas Paine House gig – it’s coming Saturday 3rd August!

We did it!

In March we invited people to contribute to the pozible campaign for musician Lucas Paine.

You might remember Lucas Paine was our very first Street Sound musician – check him out on our Street Sounds page…

The pozible campaign was to help Lucas get into the studio to record his next album. We set ourselves the target to raise $500 and in exchange Lucas would come and play his beautiful music for us all.

We are so proud of our Midnightsky community who hit the target, and then some, by raising over $550. You are amazing!

Lucas has now recorded his album with our help. And the reward for those who pledged is a ticket to the Lucas Paine gig on Saturday 3rd August.

If you missed out on contributing to the campaign – you can still to buy a ticket to come to enjoy the show!

All those booking and venue details are to come.

In the meantime, save the date for an evening of song and celebration; Saturday 3rd August.

But wait there’s more…

On the very same evening Midnightsky will launch its Street Sounds project.

This is a project where we hit the streets to record people sharing stories through sound and music. We found Lucas Paine and Jim Power outside a shopping centre in Northcote, Victoria.

We’ve since recorded other talented musicians in the laneways of Melbourne, busy Sydney streets and cosy kitchens in the Northern suburbs!

Have a listen to all our Street Sounds musicians on the blog today…
